Siliver Hallmark?- Need help

Has anyone ever heard of a company called, K. & F. Shonback Silver Smelters out of San Francisco, CA.

I did a google search and nothing popped up.

I'm looking at 3 Kilos of silver bars with their trademark on it which consists of a K. & F. S. inside a triangle. The bars are also stamped 99.9% Fine Silver

My question is, did they or do they have a reputation for correctly assaying their ingots?

Could not find a phone number either. I'm thinking they may be out of business.

Probably one of the many small refineries that sprang up in the 80's. Down and dirty test would be to torch melt a small drilling sample with no flux. If it comes back bright, you should be OK.
